One of the most popular ABBA songs is Thank You For The Music from The Album, 1977. It wasn't released as a single until 1983 after the band took their break.
ABBA recorded this song twice. The first version was recorded in June 1977 and was called the Doris Day version since Agnetha sang in the singers style. The second (and released) version was recorded more than a month later.
It would take until 1994 until the DD version found its way on an album when the ABBA box was released.
