1978 was the only year in ABBA's career without a new album.
The Album was released in Sweden late 1977 but the rest of the world had to wait until January 1978 because demand was so high that more time was needed to produce all these records.
The Album and The Movie were both promoted by the band and after that the production for a new album started but it went less smooth and a Christmas 1978 release would not happen.
A new single was released early September: Summer Night City. Bjorn and Benny were not satisfied with the song but the band wanted to release new material and it did pretty well: a number 1 hit in Sweden.
These lesser known pics with Agnetha and Frida showing a lot of leg were taken in this very year.
