Before ABBA actually became ABBA the four members worked together on each others records and when they finally worked as a foursome they were first called Bjorn, Benny & Agnetha, Frida (on the Ring Ring album in 1973). A year later they went with Bjorn, Benny, Anna and Frida but won Eurovision as ABBA.
Although Frida had recorded as Anni-Frid Lyngstad she was called Frida and would use that name on her 1975 Ensam album.
Agnetha was known in Sweden as Agnetha Faltskog but she was called Anna for a while since that was easier to pronounce for non-Swedes.
Here the foursome are having a great time at a party in the year they became ABBA, 1974.
