The year 1980 was the year that the ABBA women recorded a lot of songs.
In January they worked on a Spanish album called Gracias Por La Musica with Michael Tretow. Bjorn and Benny did not have time and were not that interested either.
Recordings for the new album (to be called Super Trouper) would start in early February and the last sessions would be in October.
In November Agnetha went into the studio to record a Christmas album with her and Bjorn's daughter Linda.
A month later Bjorn, Benny and Frida were in the studio to record a French version of The Winner Takes It All with Mireille Mathieu.
The pics show the ABBA women (looking rather sad) during an interview with Austrian tv in 1980.
